White stone washed sugar cube style buildings with blue shutters. The resort is built on the side of a cliff, overlooking the mysterious and fascinating Caldera. These 17th century caves, carved into the rock, were modified into elegantly designed luxury suites and have been decorated in the traditional island style with antique furniture and objets d'art. The hotel has also taken great care in complementing the luxury suites with excellent services and tasteful hotel facilities, creating an environment of absolute sophistication. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a bar, a restaurant and Internet access (charges apply). For an additional fee guests may also take advantage of the room and laundry services and there is parking for those arriving by car (charges apply). The hotel offers various types of suites, all of which are spacious and elegantly designed, overlooking the Caldera. The aim is to satisfy all types of guest, even the most demanding, with excellent accommodation. All are individually air-conditioned and equipped with a satellite TV, a minibar, a fridge, a radio, a direct dial telephone, a safe, a hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and other amenities for guests' comfort. It is one of the newly built Santorini hotels and has been constructed according to the exquisite traditional local architecture and with respect to the environment. Due to its privileged location all rooms and apartments overlook the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea and the verdant vineyards. Just a short walk away the village offers modern facilities such as shops, cafes, restaurants and bars spread out among the narrow cobbled streets. The airport and port are a 15 minute transfer away. Local buses connect Oia to the rest of the island.
