By boat: From Cherbourg (90 km) - RN 13 direction Caen, exit at Bayeux or from Ouistreham (35 km) D514 and D515 until Hérouville St Clair (near Caen), then N814/E46 to Rots and D613 - exit Bayeux centre. The grand hotel is an old mansion from the 18th century, totally renovated in a French classical style, and is located in the heart of the historic town of Bayeux. It is a charming and cosy hotel, with a bar and its own garden. The hotel's restaurant, Le Quatre Saison, will surprise guests with its traditional cuisine, typical of Normandy, with a large choice of meals and wine. Set menus are available at very reasonable prices. The hotel has 24 large rooms and 3 suites (including 1 room for disabled people). Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. Facilities include a hotel safe and a bar and guests can take advantage of the room and laundry services on offer. Those guests who are arriving by car may park their vehicle in the hotel's car park.
